Carmel Boot Camp Coach: Jessica Wright
Jessica earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education with a Minor in Science at Southern Illinois University of Carbondale. Jessica taught Special Education at Franklin Central High School for 5 years. Jessica is a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Exercise and Sports Trainers Association. She is also a Certified and Authorized Adventure Boot Camp Fitness Instructor. She believes in a healthy, fit life and models it through her own endeavors. Jessica earned professional status in the fitness industry at the USA's in Las Vegas, Nevada. She is an IFBB Professional Figure Competitor. Come train with a PRO!
Fishers/Geist Area Boot Camp Coach: Jason Wright
Jason earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Administration with a Minor in Physical Education at the University of Indianapolis. Jason has impeccable athletic abilities. He played professional baseball for the New York Yankee and Tampa Bay Devil Rays Organizations. He also received a full Basketball Scholarship through all four years of college. Jason is a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Exercise and Sports Trainers Association and he is an Authorized and Certified Adventure Boot Camp fitness instructor.
Avon Boot Camp Coach: Derek Devaughan
Derek resides in Martinsville, Indiana with his beautiful wife Heather, and his two precious boys, Dayton (5) and Hudson (1). Derek earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation Leadership with a Minor in Psychology from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, Oklahoma. He received a baseball scholarship while at the University of Florida and Southwestern Oklahoma State University. Derek now competes in the North American Strongman Association in which he placed 5th in the 2007 National Championship in Las Vegas, Nevada. He is a certified personal trainer through the National Exercise and Sports Trainers Association, as well as an Authorized and Certified Adventure Boot Camp fitness instructor.
Plainfield Boot Camp Coach: Kira Neuman
Kira Neuman is 25 years old and lives in Greenwood, Indiana. She is a personal trainer, student, and boot camp instructor for the South Side. Kira is in her final year at IUPUI majoring in physical education and health. She is a ISSA(International Sports Sciences Association) certified personal trainer. Throughout Kira’s life she was active in sports; participating in gymnastics, volleyball, basketball, softball, and tennis. She is also a fitness/bodybuilding competitor. Kira has a fun-loving spirit and is very passionate about fitness and health. She has a strong desire to motivate and help others reach their fitness and health goals.
Our History |
Indy Adventure Boot Camp started in Indianapolis in July of 2006. Camps are held outdoors in the warmer months and move indoors when the temperature drops. However, Adventure Boot Camp is world-wide with classes all over the United States; and even in other countries. John Spencer Ellis developed the Boot Camp concept and has been an innovator in the fitness industry for more than half his life. He is a trainer of personal trainers, media advisor, medicalexercise specialist, health consultant, mentor, life coach, and peak performance consultant.
We are more than just an exercise class. In boot camp, you meet a group of people with similar goals and you become part of a team. Kay of Carmel stated, "I liked the diversity of those attending...came in as strangers, but felt like we bonded over the course of 4 weeks." We have fun and even include your friends and family at "Bring Your Mate Night". This group of camp visitors left with a new respect for their family members enrolled in boot camp (left).
